A Single Year | 2014 | Melbourne, Australia

Looking seven years back

In only a couple days it will be my one year anniversary in Melbourne. Reflecting on what I've done, seen, and experienced in the past year, I can easily say that it's been the most fulfilling and enlightening period of my life. I am beyond grateful for the people I have had the joy to share it with, and the experiences which we have shared together. In the course of a single year I have made friendships that I will forever cherish, and have gained a deeper understanding of what true friendship means. I've taken great risks, not regretting any of them, and make it a daily ritual to break out of my comfort zone. I've done amazing activities with great people, and have traveled an obscene amount within Australia and abroad. Every day that I wake up in this country I feel blessed, and have come to understand true gratitude in a way I never could have imagined. I feel so intrinsically happy, and hope that I will have the opportunity to make this country my home for the rest of my life. Thank you so much to all the people who I have had the great pleasure of crossing paths with during my journey, because no matter how brief or everlasting, these connections will forever resonate within me and kindle my spirit.
